Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the LearnLens platform. By creating an account or accessing our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

LearnLens accounts are created by parents or guardians. Students access the platform through a 6-character invite code generated by their parent's account — they do not register independently. By creating an account you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you are the parent or guardian responsible for any student profiles linked to your account.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You may not share your account with others or allow simultaneous access by multiple users on a single-user plan.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or underlying infrastructure.
  • Upload or transmit content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without our written consent.
  • Use automated tools to generate worksheets at scale for commercial resale.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance depending on the plan you select.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period and no partial refunds are issued.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Free Plan and Trials

Free-plan usage is subject to the worksheet limits stated on our pricing page. We may change or discontinue the free plan at any time with reasonable notice. Trial periods, where offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

6. Intellectual Property

LearnLens and its underlying technology, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., custom topic notes). By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide and improve the service.

Worksheets generated for you are for your personal or classroom use. You may not sell or commercially distribute generated worksheets without prior written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

Our service uses AI models to generate educational content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing worksheets before use with students. LearnLens is a tool to assist educators and parents — it does not replace professional educational judgement.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LearnLens and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LearnLens and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will do so.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
